Since we’ve announced we’re going to preview the Astros Spring Training roster the Astros roster has been in flux! Since just last week the Astros have traded RHP Ryan Pressly and are in negotiations with 3B Alex Bregman and IF Jorge Polanco. So of course, this makes it the perfect time to breakdown the Astros infield going into Spring Training. But folks, the infield is looking good. Let’s take a look at the projected infield. P.S. I didn’t really talk too much about the non-roster invitees because most of the attention is on how the pros shake out. But we are excited to see Brice Matthews and Cam Smith this year as well as Jesus Bastidas, Tommy Sacco Jr and Zack Short; even if they are all even more of long shots to make the team with another veteran potentially joining the roster.
